Firms can complete the AML process for their clients using a third-party AML provider and enforce trust transaction restrictions within LegalOffice.
When the AML process has been completed, the EXTERNAL CDD status can be selected in LegalOffice and approval obtained from the firm’s Compliance Officer.
Setting Client Due Diligence to External using Client Maintenance
Open the client record in the Client Maintenance app.
The client risk level can be ignored and left with the default of ‘Unspecified’. Using the dropdown menu, set the due diligence level to External.
Click the Save button before exiting Client Maintenance to save your changes.
The client will then be available in the AML Manager program, ready for Compliance Officer approval.
