Authors

Authors are fee earning staff who can record time and become responsible for clients and matters.

You create or maintain Authors using the Author Maintenance app.

Use the mouse right click button to display the options menu – select NEW to add an author

Complete the Author details screen using the following explanation of the fields and their usage;

When you are done click the OK button to save your Author record.

If you are adding a new author the Smart Budgets screen will now display. If you are using Simple Budgets you can close this window and exit Author Maintenance. If you are using Smart Budgets, you had better ready the next guide Add an Author budget.
