You can request for WIP already written-off to be reversed directly from the Time tab within the Matter Inquiry screen.
There are several options for requesting a reversal of a WIP write-off:
To request a reversal of all written-off WIP for the matter:
Right-click on the header grid and select “Request Reversal of All Written-Off WIP for the Matter”.
To request a reversal for a specific written-off timeline:
Select the timeline, right-click, and choose “Request Reversal of Selected Written-Off Items”.
To request a reversal for all written-off WIP for a specific author:
Select the author in the header grid, then select the timelines to be written off in the detail grid. Right-click and choose “Request Reversal of Selected Written-Off Items”.
Authorisation
No authorisation is required for a reversal of WIP write-offs.
The time write-off reversal request will now be submitted to the Request Manager system.
The requested timeline(s) will display a status of Reversal Request until the request is approved, after which the status will be updated to unbilled.
