The Time Write off Requests manager is used by administration staff to process write off requests.
Requests Tab
All requests for WIP to be written off, or for write offs to be reversed, will be displayed on this tab. You can choose to accept or decline the request.
Right click on the matter header to process all requests, or right click on individual lines to process single requests.
Written Off Tab
All processed WIP write offs display on this tab.
Search by the client matter to display the WIP write offs.
Right click on the matter header to reverse all WIP written off for the matter, or right click on individual lines to reverse an individual write off.
Administration
Each user has the setting ‘Allow time write off’ on the user maintenance functions tab.
When selected, the user will be able to write off time directly, bypassing the request system.
When not selected, the user will be able to request a write off.
