Billing

The Bulk Billing tab is where you can find a list of all bills, whether they are in draft mode and available to edit, or have been finalised and sent to the client.

Use the header panel filters to:

  • Select draft or updated Bills
  • Select Bills for ALL authors or for an individual author
  • Select Bills for a particular client and or matter

A draft bill is a bill that has not yet been updated and is available for editing or deletion. To create a new draft bill, right click and select New

Once the draft bill is updated it can no longer be edited.

Working with draft bills

There are multiple methods of creating a draft bill. You can create one from:

MyMatters – Right click on the matter record and select ‘Raise Bill’;
Matter Inquiry – Right click on the summary screen and select ‘Raise Bill’;
Bulk Billing Tab – Right click on the draft bill grid and select the ‘New’.

All draft bills are displayed on the Bulk Billing tab, regardless of how they have been created.

Right click menu options for draft bills include:

Create a New draft bill
Delete an draft bill
Edit a draft Bill
View a draft bill
Print a draft bill
Update a draft bill
Update and print a draft bill
Replicate a draft bill

Working with updated bills

The updated bills list will display all bills ever updated. You can filter the results displayed to a single author, client or matter.

Right click menu option for updated bills include:

Reverse an updated bill
View an updated bill
Print an updated bill
Update a draft bill
Un-update a bill
Replicate an updated bill
