The Payments tab enables you to create, edit, and view payment requests, whether pending or completed. You can also check the status of individual payment requests to confirm if they have been approved and processed.
You can use the filter options in the header panel to view payments requests by author or by stage in the payment request processing workflow.
Author Filter: Use this to display payment requests for yourself, another author, or all authors.
Status Filter: Use this to view payment requests at different stages of processing:
Active: Draft payment requests that have not yet been forwarded to the accounts team for processing.
Confirmed: Payment requests that have been sent to the accounts team and are awaiting processing.
Authorised: Payment requests that are being processed and have been approved for payment.
Complete: Payment requests that have been fully processed, posted to the client matter ledger, and paid from the bank account.
Right-click on a selected payment request to access a menu with the following functions:
New: Create a new payment request.
Edit: Modify the selected payment request.
AML Info: Add information required related to prescribed transactions.
Confirm: Send payment request to accounts for processing.
Delete: Remove the selected payment request.
Authorise: Approve the selected payment request.
Authorise and Update: Approve and update the payment request, preparing it for transfer to your bank.
Authorise, Update, and Pay: Approve, update, and transfer the payment to your bank.
Internal Message: Send an internal message to another user regarding this request.
